I have a confession...I've been making these hairclips for over 2 years and finally listed some in my etsy shop. I wear them more than I sell them, that may be the reason why!!!

Fresh off the Bench! Green Rocks!!
Green does rock? Don't you agree? Three shades of green gathered together in a shade effect, a little pop of light here and there, not to flashy, but yet would go great with your spring attire!
But wait!! This comes as a set, with earrings and a bracelet to match!
Green candy for your ears...
...and your wrist!
You can find it here http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=21440733
Everyone have a green day!

Shopping for men and boys...POTENTIAL SALE!!!
I am stuck once again to find something nice for my hubby & son for the holidays. Hubby's not a scarf man, or a hat man, unless it is a trucker hat! LOL! I am trying to find something for him that is unique, and that he will use. He is a handyman, contractor, fix~it man. Anyone have any ideas?
My son will be 10 in a couple of days, and I have gotten him covered on his gift, although he is wishing for a XBOX 360, or a Wii FOR X~MAS. Ummm, not in the budget. We have felt the economic crunch this year, and we are surviving on 50% of what we are normally accustomed to. My son loves music, and is pretty much easy to please. Books are already in abundance, looking for something stylish for him.
Anyone have any ideas???I really want to stay out of the mall's and go Indie this year with my gifts. It just means more to me...Better yet, anyone on etsy have something worth considering? Please comment below, with a link!
I will be forever gracious!!!

NOVEMBER LITTLE BLACK BOX 2008
Kudos to Kim at the Little Black Boxes, there were so many great items in the November box. To make things even sweeter, I was suprised when she alerted me that I was to be the recipient of the Nov. Little Black Box. I have not won anything since grade school, and these days nothing is for free! I did the happy dance, the cabbage patch and the running man when I heard the news! All I did was comment on the Little Black Box blog. No jumping through hoops, and I when it comes to commenting, well I always have something to say, ahem..."the Queen of comments" is what I have been dubbed. When the box came (extremely fast) I opened it, it was overflowing with indie goodies. My kind of thing. Being a hand's on artist myself, I basked in the glory of others handiwork. I was in heaven!
What was in the box?
Glutenada: a 2oz sample of their fudge. Oh so nice to eat as I was unpacking the box. Gluten free too! I will be by to make a purchase for the holidays!
BodyLuxe by Shawna: A sample of holiday soap that smells perfect for this holiday season. A 15% off coupon on my first order too. What a deal!
Wood N Goods: A bell ornament made out of wood. Cut so perfect, I just have to hang it up on my tree! 10% off coupon too!
Kreations by Kathie: Orchard mini tarts, in a cute tin! 15% off coupon! These smell so good!
Green Springs Body Works: A lip balm in "organic", so soothing, smells great, and was the first thing I tested out when I opened the box. Great holiday packaging!
Shalom's Cottage Home: A cute green handy note book, which is what I need to jot down my must have's from the grocery store. The design is hip too, I will be stylin' at the store!!!
Kotibeth: Matchbook style cover with paper inside. Stylish paper! $1 shipping coupon, can't beat that!
TagsAndButtons: Cute tags and notions for the curious! I will enjoy using my goodies to enhance my gifts! 15% off coupon that can be used more than once! What a suprise!
Maddie Reid Chicago: A Mother of Pearl button ring. It's adjustable, and perfect for casual wear. Besides, I am a pearl fanantic!
SBS Teas: The most generous portion of Snowflake Coffee and Festive Wishes Tea. 15% off coupon. And a extra peppermint treat! The smell is mesmerizing!
Jaimie B Designs: A petite pair of earrings in clear and blue. Perfect for blue jeans, or casual wear.
215design : A tiny tile pendant, blossoms cover the whole tile. A wonderful piece of art! 25% off coupon and free shipping. Great deal!
Apple Blossom Design: A cell phone trinket, in a milky green glass tulip bead.
Oh Lime: My very first mini aceo's. Such beautiful pictures of floral items. I can see these in my bathroom! 20% off coupon.
Red Marionette: A iron on applique. Something I can always use! 10% off coupon.
Chunky Butt: Love the name, because it's too cute! A sample of Pumpkin spice latte sugar scrub, and a Feel the burn melt sample. BOGO coupon. Those I like!!!
Colorado Catnip Toys: A patriotic fabric catnip toy. I will pass this on to my mom, who's cat is a lover of catnip.
Gabbriella's Closet2: A full bar of Lemongrass Soap. Quite generous! Great packaging!
Midnight Creations: 2 Handmade holiday giftbags made out of beautiful material. Excellent for gift giving!
All The Numbers: A beautiful handmade card in a floral design. Material sewn right onto the card! Unique!
Debbie Gootter Designs: A pair of clear briolette earrings. A treasure! 20% off coupon too!
I hear that the December Little Black Boxes are on sale Dec. 5th! Don't miss out!

Recommendations
I have learned so much from etsy! I have found alot of valuable information just from visiting the forums. The etsy forums are so full of knowledge, that I make it a priority to check them daily.

While browsing the forums one day, a fellow etsy seller started a forum that mentioned how her sales were increasing . She explained her participation in Little Black Boxes (http://www.thelittleblackboxes.com/).
Little Black Boxes is run by Kimberlee Keane, who collects handmade sample items that sellers donate. In turn she puts together "little black boxes" inserting about 15+ handmade items plus valuable coupons from most of the sellers. These boxes are for sale once a month, and she always sells out! Not only does she assemble all the boxes, she also features each contributing seller who has donated items. She also blogs frequently about different seller's shops, purchases items for herself to review, and does giveaways. All this and she has a pleasant sense of humor!
This is a genius way to get your product into the hands
of potential buyers!
I bought the August Box and received alot of cool things, that I have used! See my picture, these are the actual items I received!
I love this concept of getting your shop noticed, and I plan on participating in the future. One of the benefits of purchasing a box is that you get to see, touch and wear what others handmake. I know that I will be purchasing items from the sellers who participated when normally I would not if not for the hands on aspect. If you have been a participant of Little Black Boxes, or have purchased your own little black box, comment and share your success story, I would love to hear it!
